Rosie Waddington
Rosie is a London/Manchester based singer and composer who loves telling stories through her music. A skilled vocalist able to perform in a variety of styles and genres, Rosie brings something special to any event. She has exemplary professionalism and gives her all in performances. As a musician, she feel incredibly fortunate to have benefitted from the many opportunities that music and the theatre has given me. Rosie is a 1st class graduate from the University of Southampton, where she studied music, where she composed, performed and journalised music as well as took part in a variety of bands, orchestras and ensembles. She is highly skilled in all areas and is excited to start her career in musical performance.
Singer
Rosie has been performing since she was young, singing and playing at private functions and parties, London fashion week, restaurants, weddings, funerals throughout England. Rosie is known for her innovative musical ideas, quick learning skills, high musical knowledge and kindness to everyone she collaborates with. As a musician, she feel incredibly fortunate to have benefitted from the many opportunities that music and the theatre has given me. As a singer and a violinist she has a love of live performance, and it has taught her so many skills; the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of people, to be self motivated and disciplined in working towards a collective goal, and to work independently under pressure.
Educator
A music graduate from University of Southampton with 1st class honours degree, Rosie has a strong passion for performing and for teaching. Rosie finds music to be such a positive element in people’s lives, it allows confidence to grow and creativity to flourish. Rosie has been lucky enough to have had terrific teachers through her musical career and is eager to share the knowledge she treasures so deeply. Proficient in multiple styles; Musical theatre, Pop, Jazz and Classical, as well as composition, song writing and theory.
